Answer

Once you earned your degree from AU, you're eligible for an alumni borrowing card, which you can sign up for at the library's Borrowing Desk. You may use books within the library without an account, but you will not be able to leave with them.

While in the library, alumni may use most of the databases. Remotely, alums may access five databases: JSTOR, Academic Search Premier Alumni Edition (an electronic database specifically for alumni), Project Muse, GreenFile (indexing and abstracting resource covering aspects of human impact to the environment), Current Digest of the Post-Soviet Press, Sage Journals, Library Information Science & Technology Abstracts (LISTA), and American Doctoral Dissertations: 1933-1955.

Access to these databases is available through the Library Resources section of the Alumni Association Online Community.
