EBSCOHost (or EBSCO for short) is the name of the company that produces many databases available through the American University Library.  EBSCOHost is not the name of a database, so it is not in our A-Z list of databases.

If you are uncertain which EBSCO database you need, go to the library's homepage on the left under RESEARCH and click on SEARCH DATABASES.  Click on the database Academic Search Premier.  On the main search page of Academic Search Premier, click on the small blue link "Choose Databases."  A list of all the EBSCO databases to which AU subscribes will appear.  You can search any or all of the databases at the same time by clicking the check box next to the database title.

AU also subscribes to many electronic books made available through EBSCOhost.

If you have questions, please "Ask a Librarian" through chat, email, phone, text or personal visit to the library. Icons and links for the "Ask Us" service appear on the right of this page.
