Answer

AU contracts with Google Scholar to provide links to the full text of many academic articles found in the databases that we subscribe to. It provides "cited by" links that are excellent sources for finding more recent scholarship on the topic.

AU students, faculty and full time staff may access Google Scholar (AU edition) from home.

From the library's homepage, click on the "Start Your Research" tab, scroll down and click on Google Scholar (AU Edition) If you are off campus, you will be prompted to log in with your your myau.american.edu portal credentials.

You can search for articles in many languages other than English by clicking on Settings (gear icon).
