Here are some sources to get you started:
  • In election years, the Current Population Survey collects data on reported voting and registration, and later reports stats by turnout, age, race and origin.
  • Dave Leip's Atlas of U.S. Presidential Elections provides access to election statistics from United States races for President, Governor, House of Representatives, and Senate, as well as voter turnout figures. Data is in Excel and/or CSV format. Coverage dates are from 1912, and coverage varies by type of election.
  • Analysis and statistics on U.S. presidential, congressional, and gubernatorial elections.
