The Washington Research Library Consortium (WRLC) is a regional resource-sharing organization established in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area to expand and enhance the information resources available to their students and faculty.

AU patrons can place requests for Consortium Loan Service (CLS) materials, which will come from one of the schools that make up the Washington Research Library Consortium (WRLC), including:

  • American University (AU)
  • Catholic University (CU)
  • Gallaudet University (GA)
  • George Mason University (GM)
  • George Washington University (GW)
  • Georgetown University (GT)
  • Howard University (HU)
  • Marymount University (MU)
  • University of the District of Columbia (DC)

Requests can be made by clicking on the "CLS Request" link under the "How To Get It" Section of the item's record in Library Search. After that, you are able to track your requests by visiting your My Library Account.
