A great place to begin is with the Library's Grants & Grantwriting Subject Guide.

Also, Candid (formerly The Foundation Center) offers classes on how to write grants and find funding sources.

The Office of Sponsored Awards and Research subscribes to Pivot, a product that is very similar to Funding Institutional.

So, if you are looking for grant opportunities, visit the Find Funding page in the help.american.edu portal or access the Pivot database from the A to Z List of Databases.

If you have any questions or would like additional help, please visit our Ask a Librarian page.
