EBSCOhost (or EBSCO for short) is the name of the company that produces many databases available through the American University Library.  EBSCOhost is the name of a database vendor *NOT* an actual database, so it is not in our A-Z list of databases.

If you are uncertain which EBSCO database you need, go to the library's homepage and select DATABASES under RESEARCH ASSISTANCE.  Scroll to the All Vendors/Providers dropdown menu at the top of the page and select EBSCO. Read the descriptions and select the most appropriate EBSCO database from this list.

AU also subscribes to many electronic books made available through EBSCOhost.
