Since the AU library does not have audio books, we recommend that you go to the Tenley-Friendship Neighborhood Library, our local public library. Anyone who lives, works or attends school in DC is eligible for a free public library card. (Be sure to take your AU ID, drivers license and a piece of postage stamped mail showing your name and local address.) The Tenley-Friendship Neighborhood Library has a good selection of books on CD. You may also download library audiobooks onto MP3 players or iPods.
The Tenley-Friendship Neighborhood Library is located by the Tenleytown Metro on Wisconsin Avenue across Albemarle Street from Best Buy.
Take a look at their website for more information: www.dclibrary.org/tenley
