Q. Do I need permission to photograph people in the library? What if I am a student working on a class project?

Yes. Everyone, including students working on class projects, must complete a "Filming, Videotaping, Photographing Request Form" available at the Information Desk. The request must be approved in advance of filming, videotaping or photographing within the main library building. The form can be approved by the library Operations staff or the Director of Admin Services.

This procedure is designed so that Library personnel and visitors are not filmed without their express permission.
