Q. I found a book in the catalog with the status “No Item Status.” Can I get it?

The "No Item Status" message has different meanings depending on which library owns the book.

If AU owns the book, it means that the item is being processed.  You can get it, but not immediately. Fill out our Priority Cataloging Request Form to have the library staff rush process the requested item and hold it for you at the Borrowing Desk. This can take up to five business days.

The "No Item Status" message will appear on all Georgetown (GT) and George Mason (GM) books because the type of catalog these libraries use does not fully mesh with ours.  You can get the item by submitting a Consortium Loan Request (video tutorial below).

This answer also applies to items that have "No Status Available" in the catalog record.
