To earn a “University Honors” designation upon graduation, all American University Honors students are required to complete a capstone project, ranging from an extensive research paper to a creative work. Beginning in 1993, these projects have been submitted to the University Archives. In the Academic Year 2007-2008 students submitted both paper and electronic versions. Starting with AY 2008-2009, all submissions have been electronic.
