To earn a “University Honors” designation upon graduation, all American University Honors students are required to complete a capstone project, ranging from an extensive research paper to a creative work.
Beginning in 1993, these projects have been submitted to the University Archives.
In the Academic Year 2007-2008 students submitted both paper and electronic versions.
Starting with AY 2008-2009, all submissions have been electronic.
Any electronic version is made available via the American University Research Archive (AURA).
The paper copies until around 2008 are held offsite and can be accessed via a research appointment with Archives & Special Collections.
