Yes, you can save items and searches in My Library Account. First, sign in on the top right of the AU Library Search page with your AU credentials. Enter your search terms, then use the thumbtack icon to save ("pin") an item or your completed query to your "Favorites". Note, AU Library Search may have problems saving more than a few items at a time.
Software like Zotero, Mendeley, and EndNote allow you to save bibliographic information directly from the AU LIbrary Search. More information about the pros and cons of these programs can be found on the Citation Programs and Software Libguide.
