Here are some sources to get you started:
  • In election years, the Current Population Survey collects data on reported voting and registration, and later reports stats by turnout, age, race and origin.
  • Dave Leip's Atlas of U.S. Elections provides access to election statistics from United States races for President, Governor, House of Representatives, and Senate, as well as voter turnout figures. Data is in Excel and/or CSV format. Coverage dates are from 1912, and coverage varies by type of election. Alternative Name: Dave Leip's Atlas of U.S. Presidential Elections

  • Analysis and statistics on U.S. presidential, congressional, and gubernatorial elections.

State government-issued statistical information - search by state name and election using https://www.usa.gov/  or limit your Google search to government websites using Site:.gov "election statistics"

  • The Data Citation Index on the Web of Science platform provides a single point of access to quality research data from repositories across disciplines and around the world. It also offers recommended data citations.
