Yes. The AU library has the Shoah Foundation Institute Visual History Archive of streaming video testimonials from survivors of genocides, including the Holocaust, the Armenian and Rwandan genocides, the Nanjing Massacre, and other atrocities.

Current AU student, faculty and staff may use the database wherever they have Internet access.

Visitors must come to the AU campus to use the database. Upon arrival at the library, visitors should present their government-issued photo ID (a driver's license, passport, etc.) to the Information Desk staff to receive a temporary log in. They may use their own laptops or any library computer. Visitors should bring their own headphones or ear buds and be prepared to take notes.  The interviews cannot be downloaded for off-site use.

To access the database, go to the library's homepage under RESEARCH ASSISTANCE > Databases > S > Shoah Foundation.

Both members of the AU community and visitors will be presented with the option to create a free account to use personalization features in the database.

A search for collections or survivors' names in AU Library Search (search box on the library's homepage) may also retrieve results.
