If you would like to access the web or mobile version of a newspaper directly, rather than via the AU Library databases, you might want to consider subscribing to the paper at an academic rate. For example, "The New York Times" is available to students for $1.00/week.  It is worth investigating if the newspaper you'd like to access has a similar discount for students.
