The Geospatial Research Lab (GRL), as of Fall 2021, will be located on the Lower Level of the University Library,

The GRL will provide approximately 20 hours/week of a combination of on-site and virtual support for GRL users. The primary contact email for inquiries to the GRL remains geospatial@american.edu.

ArcPro v2.8 will be available on the new Virtual Applications and Desktops platform officially rolling out to campus at the start of the fall semester 2021. This will replace the older Virtual Apps system that did not include ArcPro and will allow users who have been granted an ArcPro account access from off-campus. This should alleviate the need for the remote desktop stop-gap solution from the last few semesters.
If any users need access to the legacy ArcMap or ArcCatalog desktop apps, they will need to come into the GRL.

The computers in the ACC rooms B-13 and B-14 will have ArcPro (a.k.a. ArcGIS Pro) 2.8 installed as well.
